Executive Assistant

Location: Remote / Hybrid (Singapore)

She Loves Tech is looking for a reliable Executive Assistant. You will play an important administrative role in supporting the team to work efficiently. This role involves a high level of clerical administrative work alongside research efforts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage calendar to create ideal and efficient working schedule

  • Manage and respond to email enquiries

  • Coordinate times and schedule meetings

  • Ensure seamless collaboration among team members

  • Data entries

  • Perform online fact-finding and research

  • Basic bookkeeping

  • Assist in general administrative and management support work as part of the overall job responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES

Join our internship program! Internships at She Loves Tech will give you the opportunity to get experience in a global organization and more insight into the latest trends in the fields of women, tech and entrepreneurship. Interns will have the opportunity to see entrepreneurship, venture capital and technology ecosystems from every angle, attend remote She Loves Tech sessions with top entrepreneurs, industry experts, influencers, and more.

Program Intern - Competition

Location: Remote / Hybrid

As Program Intern, you will work with the team running the world's largest startup competition for women and technology, and support various tasks within the end-to-end execution of the program. Whether you are looking to enter the industry or an aspiring entrepreneur, this is an opportunity to be close to the action.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in overall preparation and implementation of the She Loves Tech Global Startup Competition and other related related projects / activities

  • Support day-to-day communications between different program stakeholders (ie internal team, partners, startups, mentors, judges, speakers)

  • Coordinate logistics for the program

  • Track processes and ensure smooth implementation of the program

  • Scout promising startups to join the She Loves Tech Global Startup Competition

  • Support in the management of Global competition calendar, timeline and deliverables

  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English, oral and written (fluency in other languages a plus)

  • High interpersonal and organisational abilities, strong attention to detail

  • Resourceful and able to problem-solve independently

  • Self-starter entrepreneurial spirit

  • Generally tech-savvy (coding, photoshop and other digital skills a plus)

Data Operations Intern

Location: Remote / Hybrid

As Data Operations Intern, you will work with the project team building the largest database and discovery platform of women tech founders in the world, and learn about building a tech product first-hand.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, organise and update startup database

  • Conduct research and due diligence on startups with gender lens

  • Manage database and communication with startups

  • Scout promising startups to join She Loves Tech programs

  • Support research writing efforts

  • Other ad-hoc tasks within the scope of the project team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English, oral and written (fluency in other languages a plus)

  • Tech-savvy (data science / engineering and other tech knowledge a huge plus)

  • Organised and detail-oriented

  • Resourceful and able to problem-solve independently

  • Self-starter entrepreneurial spirit

  • Strong critical and analytical thinking skills

  • Can-do attitude and flexibility in a fast-moving environment

Marketing & Communications Intern (China)

Location: Remote / Hybrid (China)

As Marketing & Communications Intern, you will directly participate in public relations and marketing initiatives in China and work closely with the global team leading the She Loves Tech Global Startup Competition and Global Conference.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop content for China-based social media like wechat and weibo

  • Draft press releases and coordinate with media

  • Support implementation of events in China (ie Startup Competition)

  • Support management of wechat group

  • Coordinate with global team on shared content and cross-promotions

  • Conduct research on China startup ecosystem

  • Other ad-hoc tasks within the scope of marketing and communications in China

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and English, oral and written; able to independently draft materials and documents in either language

  • Demonstrated creativity in marketing and/or communications

  • Web and social media savvy; well-versed in Chinese social media platforms

  • High interpersonal and organisational abilities, strong attention to detail

  • Computer software and graphics proficiency (Microsoft Office, GSuite, Photoshop and other graphic design tools)

  • Independent and proactive with a positive attitude

  • Strong curiosity for technology, startups, entrepreneurship and/or investment topics*

Venture Intern

Location: Remote / Hybrid

As Venture Intern, you will support the ongoing development of She Loves Tech's investment-related initiatives as well as get first-hand experience in the startup and venture capital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Support communications with external stakeholders like startups, funds and related partners

  • Familiarize and network with VC ecosystem and other relevant players / partners in the space

  • Scout promising startups to join She Loves Tech programs

  • Manage and track startup portfolio

  • Conduct research around startup ecosystem, market and industry trends, and events as needed

  • Aid conceptualization and implementation of investment and startup-related projects as needed

  • Support creation / writing of annual She Loves Tech market report

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English, oral and written (fluency in other languages a plus)

  • High interpersonal and organisational abilities, strong attention to detail

  • Resourceful and able to problem-solve independently

  • Self-starter entrepreneurial spirit

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

She Loves Tech is looking for proactive and motivated volunteers who are passionate about the fields of women, tech and entrepreneurship. Positions are highly flexible and range from event leads, researchers, graphic designers, business development, startup analysts, etc.

Location: Remote and in-person depending on regional needs
